FINAL REFLECTION + Bibliography

 FINAL REFLECTION


It is mostly over, can you believe it!? I remember the Andrea who started this subject months ago. I can still remember how terrified I was about talking in English at class. How difficult it seems to me at first the contents and the methodology we were following. And right now, without even knowing, I realize I am completely into this subject. In fact, it was the best of the metion. 

Now I enjoy and understand every single class, I do not care about what others think about my English speech, and it gives me enough courage to handle presentations, asking doubts or giving feedback to my classmates. 

I have fallen in love with the methodology we have used, some lectures, some practical lessons, cooperative and collaborative classes where we were sharing our projects or works with other groups in their channels, some simultaneous lessons between Moodle and Teams, etc. And I have loved this, just not because, for the first time a teacher has changed the methodology as normally teachers ask us to do when we become teachers, but for a more important fact: this lessons has made us a group! 

Begin in a class where do you barely know someone is difficult, but if it is online it becomes a huge trouble. You can not meet and really know who your classmates are, how do they work, what do they think, etc. Because of the COVID situation, we can not even meet outside class. So, been able to find a space where we all can share our thoughts, our works (which reflect who we are), our feedbacks, etc, has made us become a group. An online group where we do not know how tall we are, how are our voices without microphone, but we know other things and we have got on well in this class. I am so grateful for that!

Furthermore, I have finished this first stage of the path, which will lead me in my dream future, with success. At least, that is my personal view. I am aware there are thousands of things I have to learn before I become the teacher I am dreaming to be. Maybe, I will never learn all of it. But, this was the beggining, and I have completed with a huge sensation of success, enthusiasm and self pride of all I have done. I consider myself a creative mind, with critical thinking, with curiosity and passion for what I learn everyday. That is why I have took advantage of every lesson, and this portfolio is the proof of it. 

I do not know what does the future holds to me, but I think I am prepared for whatever it brings. At least, I am fully prepared for our practices.  

Thank you for every experience, all the advices, the contents and the compromise to accompany us in our dream to be great English teachers, we will not let you down!
